BELLEVUE, WA -- March 13, 2000 UltraBac Software today reaffirmed its continuing participation in the newly expanded Microsoft® Partner Solution Center (MPSC), a facility designed to bring together world-class technology companies dedicated to the rapid development of secure, end-to-end network solutions needed by network service providers in order to maintain a competitive advantage in today's marketplace.
The MPSC is a unique multi-vendor environment that brings together the combined expertise, resources, and best-of-breed products for building, testing, designing, and documenting end-to-end network solutions focusing on key new service provider opportunities such as hosting, broadband/TV services, voice-over IP, wireless, and commerce.
"The MPSC provides UltraBac Software with a one-of-a-kind environment for facilitating the deployment of new services and solutions," says UltraBac Vice President, Director of Business Development and Microsoft® Windows MVP, Paul Bunn. "Through collaborating with Microsoft's technical engineers and other participating companies, the new MPSC will help us significantly decrease our sales cycle, improve customer satisfaction, and take advantage of new business opportunities that we previously did not have the resources to tackle."
UltraBac software products provide backup and disaster recovery support for the mission-critical resources of the MPSC staff and systems.
Now located in Building 25 on the Microsoft® campus, the new MPSC includes new technology areas such as a load-generation lab, expanded workshop capacity, new network services, and specialty training rooms. A unique aspect of the MPSC is that it's the only facility on the Microsoft® campus that operates outside the company firewall; therefore, partners have the ability to easily run "live" pilots and customer tests onsite.
UltraBac Software and its parent company, BEI Corporation, continue to be recognized as a premier producer of quality storage management software designed to protect mission-critical data. UltraBac Software's backup and disaster recovery products, first released in June of 1995, are relied upon to preserve data in a diverse array of business computing environments of all sizes.
